Ibrahimpatnam, July 21, 2018: Guru Nanak Institutions organized Orientation Day for the newly admitted B.Tech students and their patents for the current academic year on 21st July 2018.
Sri. Mahesh Periwal, CEO, Tirumala Oil Chem Limited, Hyderabad and Sri P. Raghuveer, IFS, Government of Telangana graced this occasion as the chief guests and Mr. G. Roop Kumar, Vice President, Ctrl S, Hyderabad as the guest of honour.
The chief guests and the guest of honour advised the students that any student can achieve good marks if studies well with dedication and discipline. They also advised to improve the communication skills which can transform the students into better citizens’.
While addressing the students & parents, Vice-Chairman of Guru Nanak Institutions Sardar Gagandeep Singh Kohli welcomed the newly admitted students to GNI family. He also said that Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus has become an Autonomous Institution and GNITC, GNIT have been accredited by NAAC A+ and NBA. He wished that all the students have to bring the laurels to their parents and the institution by completing the 4 year course successfully and by grabbing the better employment opportunities.
In his address to the students, Director of GNITC, Dr. M. Ramalingareddy, said that students should use the well equipped laboratories, library provided by the management to understand the subject in a better way. He also said that they have wiped out the ragging menace in GNI campus and provided better hostel facility and internet to all the students. Principal of GNIT-Dr.S. Sreenatha Reddy, Associate Directors Prof. P. Parthasaradhy, Prof. R.K. Singh, and Dr. Rishi Sayal, along with HODs of various branches of Engineering, faculty members and students and parents were participated in this programme.
