Dr. Rishi Sayal, Professor & Associate Director Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus has done B.E. (CSE), M.Tech,(IT), Ph.D. (CSE) LMCSI, LMISTE, MIEEE, MIAENG(USA). He has completed his Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering in the field of Data Mining from Prestigious and oldest Mysore University of Karnataka state. His research work is titled “Innovative Methods for Robust and Efficient Data Clustering. He has published more than 60 research papers in International Journals and conferences with many papers published in SCI & SCOPUS indexed. He has two patents to his credit. He has received more than 50 Lakhs grants from AICTE, UGC and other government agencies.

Further he is the editor/author of books & springer Scopus indexed proceedings. He is panel member of Doctoral committee of few universities. He is the coordinator of AICTE-idea Lab. He has over 34 years of experience in training, consultancy, teaching, placements & administration.

He is the Coordinator of professional chapter including IEEE, reviewer of IJCA (Intl journal of computer association USA). Member of international association of engineers (Mem No: 103024), Guided more than 100 PG students and many graduates.
